Plain English: we only collect what you give us, we use it to talk to you, and we don't sell it.

01Who we are

Main Street Hype (“we”, “us”) runs mainstreethype.com. You can reach us at hello@mainstreethype.com or by WhatsApp at +1 (417) 747-0150.

02What we collect

• Enquiries (contact form and the website chat): your name, business name, email or phone number and message.
• Newsletter: your email address.
• Feedback: your name, business, rating, message and, if you choose, an email or phone number (never shown publicly).
• Referrals: the details you enter about the referring partner and the business being referred.
• Messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media.
• Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. Cloudflare also provides basic, cookie-free analytics (page views and general performance) so we can see how the site is doing. We do not run advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site.

03How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and provide our services.
• To send our monthly newsletter, only if you subscribed.
• To show feedback on the site, only after we approve it, using the name and business you gave us.
• To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

04Where it goes

Form submissions are stored in our database on Cloudflare (in eastern North America) and emailed to our business inbox. We use service providers to run the site and communicate with you, including Cloudflare, Google (email and fonts) and Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, if you message us there). They may process your information only to provide their services. Because we work with people anywhere in the world, your information may be processed in the United States.

05How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we need them to deal with your request or relationship, and to keep normal business and tax records. Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

06Your choices and rights

Email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have additional legal rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. We respond to requests within a reasonable time.

07Children

This site is for business owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

08Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

09Other websites

Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other sites lead to services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

10Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
